Start your job searchOur client, a growing logistics and distribution group based in Cheshire are searching for an experienced Management Accountant, due to internal promotion.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller but also working closely with the Group FD, this role primarily will be responsible for the production of Management Accounts for the largest company in the group and overseeing the accounts preparation on a smaller division. This is a varied role where you will also have input to the statutory accounts, involvement with the audit at year end and exposure to various projects from time to time. There will also be commercial exposure as you partner with HOD's and budget holders to better understand the business and help drive improvements and further growth.
You must be an experienced, proven management accountant with a good technical skillset, and a keen eye for process enhancement. This role is likely to further develop over the next two years as the business grows, and the GFD moves towards retirement. This role is office based, however do offer flexible start and finish times to suit individual circumstances.
