The role will be varied and give the right candidate the skills to progress in the business.

You will be responsible and take ownership of ful month end processes, preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and reporting.

Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

Be an integral part of the team, working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager.

Duties and responsbilities will include:

Processes & Controls

• Improve communication and processes in store for sales reporting
• Develop and refine control procedures to ensure high accuracy and compliance from store managers

Month End

• Calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments (maintaining necessary schedules, and working documents)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Undertake thorough process review, identify weaknesses in current methodologies and design value-adding improvements

Financial Reporting

• Acquire additional month end tasks with a view to broadening own financial experience
• Develop understanding of wider month end reporting process and provide insightful commentary

Ad hoc Projects / Analysis

• Review and develop processes to drive efficiency
• Participate in system developments and development of BI reporting
• Carry out ad hoc analysis to support business partner
