An international copper miner is offering a lucrative opportunity for a talented Financial Controller to work on-site at their African asset base. Majority backed by a global conglomerate, the business have developed an attractive blend of stability and autonomy that has facilitated rapid growth.

Reporting to the board (in Europe), you will develop a select team that will assume responsibility all management accounting duties; capex reporting; internal control improvements; system implementations and operational audits. As a mining specialist, you are expected to drive financial strategy out of Africa while supporting business development and M&A activity when necessary. A role with independence, responsibility and excellent potential for progression as their asset base matures.

The successful individual will be a hands-on, French speaking finance professional, with extensive mining experience and a proven track-record of team development. The role is generating interest across the mining community so please confirm your interest today. Salary: $180K + accommodation & travel allowance + bonus. OKN141345
