.NET Developer / Technical Architect



A not-for-profit business services organisation based in London is looking to hire a .NET Developer / Technical Architect on a permanent basis to assist in delivering a suite of mission critical programmes across all business areas.


Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of software development within the Microsoft tech stack and either have moved into architecture, or be looking for their first architetcture role.

The client is prepared to invest in the right individual and provde all the support and guidance they will need to grow into the role.

Proven background in Azure and Agile, as well as practical experience of coding and liaising with development teams is essential.


This is a hybrid position with the expectation that at least 1 day a week will be office based.



Working closely with the Solution Architect, the main remit of the role will be to design, document and innovate on new technical architecture and create a fit for purpose technology strategy, as well as create and check code



Responsibilities

  • Leading on the design of a technology platform that focuses on delivering value across all business areas
  • Providing technical expertise to assigned projects and initiatives
  • Taking a leading role on internal development initiatives consisting of pilot studies and conceptual prototyping



Key Skills


  • Proven track record as a software developer within .NET
  • Architecture experience is desirable, or a least aspirations to move into an architect role
  • Proven experience of Azure and DevOps
  • Track record of working in an Agile environment and clear understanding of methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFE.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and an inquisitive nature are essential
