Start your job search-Administration of cover notes, wordings and addenda ensuring all processes are adhered to within company guidelines. Processing Minimum and Deposit Premiums across internal classes onto bespoke RI system.
-Setting up Facultative and Quota Share arrangements in underwriting system and review daily Premium and claim movements monitoring reinsurance position.
-Analysing and reviewing daily/monthly claims movements for XOL recovery and maintaining the internal reinsurance system to ensure correct contract positions are held, managing the erosion of available cover.
-Issuing reinsurance collections and loss advices to the market
-Analysing and reviewing monthly statistical movements for departmental, divisional and actuarial reporting.
-Dealing with reinsurer’s requests for additional claims information, obtaining loss reports and liaising with syndicate loss adjusters and brokers where necessary.
-Assisting with Finance reconciliations where appropriate, matching un-matched cash against system entries.
-Attending meetings when required, liaising with other divisions providing them with ad hoc information when requested.
-Maintaining spreadsheets in Excel for Management Information and statistical purposes and providing support and cover for other members of the team
The candidate must be highly numerate with a solid level of IT skills (including Excel), and a strong capability to manipulate data using pivot tables, VLookup, IF statements, and formulas to provide detailed monthly and quarterly reports for Management information. Experience with Excess of Loss and Quota Share reinsurance is essential for this role. Experience gained from the Lloyd's market is highly desirable.
