This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to take ownership of a varied, high-volume payroll within a supportive and established team.

The role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will take responsibility for end-to-end payroll administration, processing multiple four-weekly payrolls for both salaried and hourly-paid employees across a multi-site UK business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing multiple four-weekly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Managing and processing employee timesheets
• Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Calculating and processing statutory deductions and payments
• Responding to and resolving employee payroll queries
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data
• Ensuring payroll processes remain compliant with current UK payroll legislation
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality at all times
• Using Sage Payroll as part of the end-to-end payroll process

The ideal candidate

We are looking to speak with experienced payroll professionals who have a strong understanding of the end-to-end payroll process and are comfortable working within a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Previous experience using Sage Payroll would be advantageous, although candidates with strong payroll experience using other systems will also be considered.

You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing payroll queries while ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met.
