Start your job searchMarks Sattin are supporting a growing professional services company based in Bristol to recruit a fantastic payroll opportunity. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a high functioning team, managing payroll for over 1000 employees.
The Payroll Assistant's primary focus will be on the accurate and timely processing of payroll, whilst supporting the team with onboarding of new employees and adhoc projects. The role is based in central Bristol with WFH flexibility.
The Payroll Assistant
Key responsibilities include;
- Understand and deliver the full payroll process accurately and timely
- Set up new employees for payment, manage BACS payments and RTI submissions
- Support the Payroll team in delivering group level payroll
- Manage employee details, including updating working hours, Salaries/Pensions and bank details
- Support the business with any general payroll queries
- Payroll reconciliation and audit
- Support the team pension admin
About your experience
- Demonstrable experience in payroll
- High proficiency in the Microsoft suite, in particular Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage workloads, deadlines and sensitive information
