You will oversee the full payroll cycle, manage a small team and provide expert guidance on pay matters. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining strong controls and driving ongoing improvements across processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the payroll team
• Deliver accurate and compliant payrolls on schedule
• Manage complex payroll queries and provide expert advice
• Oversee processing of all pay elements and statutory payments
• Maintain reconciliations, reporting and statutory submissions
• Support system improvements and payroll related projects

About You

• Strong experience in end-to-end payroll
• Proven background in leading a payroll team
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation and employment law
• Confident user of payroll systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Clear communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
