PMO Analyst

Exciting new PMO Analyst role at a leading international publisher, based in Central London. Offering fantastic progression in a company that invests in professional progression and development.

Previous PMO experience required in order to apply.

Key skills required;

  • Understanding what the role is for PMO Office, between a Risk and Issue
  • Knowledge regarding dependencies
  • Knowledge of project Governance
  • Knowledge of Project Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of Prince2 methodology
  • Highly organized and efficient working practices

Working within the Portfolio/Programme Management Office, assisting the PMO Manager and Project Managers across Technology and the Business in maintaining, analysing and collating documentation relating to our Portfolio projects and Programmes - stage gate governance, risk and issues management, dependencies, project planning and reporting.

Previous experienced with working in complex project and programmes environments and is comfortable working with best practice templates, standard project management methodologies and techniques.

Responsibilities;

  • Support the project managers through the Project lifecycle to track and report on progress and assist Support the Project Managers to create, update and track critical paths, milestones and all elements of project planning.
  • Work with Project Managers on the identifying, documenting and tracking of inter and intra-project/programme dependencies
  • Review and support effective management of the Risk and Issue Logs, ensuring that Risks and Issues are clearly identified, regularly updated and have appropriate mitigation plans in place. Produce a consolidated risk and issue reporting, analysing data and ensure appropriate escalation of risks and issues where necessary
  • Support the PMO team to maintain the consolidated resourcing schedule
  • Analyse project and business reports and produce progress summary reports/KPIs for key programme stakeholders
  • Produce the In Flight Projects Portfolio Board documentation, minute the meetings, maintain the follow-on actions and decision logs
  • Maintain the portfolio project change request process to ensure changes are assessed against the wider portfolio as required and that all relevant documentations are updated on approval. Produce a consolidated monthly report.
