The Opportunity:
I'm partnered with a global advisory firm who have a growing capital infrastructure advisory team. They act as strategic partner to the broader public sector on major infrastructure programmes across Ireland.
With our energy system going through unprecedented changes & major infrastructure developments across the country and in our seas, as well as innovation and new technologies - this team is looking to make a key hire in their Energy Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead conversations with key stakeholders on energy infrastructure projects - providing subject matter expertise on project initiation, operating model creation through to developing the execution strategy roadmap.
- Partner with Senior Leadership Team & key stakeholders to guide them through the management of projects & key project milestones - ensuring risks, challenges & issues are identified & project budgets are managed appropriately.
- Establish a project reporting cadence, ensuring key stakeholders are up to date on project progress to support key decision making.
- Lead the bid proposal process & presentations for new and existing clients.
- Manage the project manage team & part of recruitment process on new hires.
- Build relationships with key clients within the energy industry & colleagues across the business who engage with the sector.
Knowledge & experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civils or related field.
- Min 10 years' experience leading energy infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience across Target Operating Model Design & Execution, project management, procurement & contracts management.
