Start your job searchFantastic opportunity to join a thriving, nationwide hospitality organisation, based just outside of Reading town centre. My client are looking to expand their finance team by hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk who can help build on the existing
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficient & timely processing of all accounts payable transactions onto the ledger
- Matching purchase orders to relevant invoice, ensuring there're no discrepancies
- Register and monitor any invoice queries, communicating with supplier contacts to reach correct resolution
- Management of supplier statements, reconciling on a regular basis to minimise payment delays
- Liaising with suppliers and branch managers to ensure invoices are paid on time and maintain strong, professional relationships
The Candidate:
- Some experience of accounts (minimum of 1 year is desirable)
- Strong Excel skills and accurate data entry is preferred
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail, essential to minimise payment delays
- Animated, passionate personality in order to integrate best into our fun, social team environment
- Begun or looking to begin AAT or other relevant qualification
- Able to work full time hours
