Are you an experienced Regulatory Transaction Reporting Team Leader/Manager? Do you have core exprience in Bonds or Fixed Income Regulation? Do you have indepth MIFID 2 knowledge? An exciting new position with growth and development opportunities! Our client is a large multinational bank looking for a VP for their Regulatory Transaction Reporting Team.

The successful candidate will join a fast paced environment that is set to grow rapidly in the coming year. This is an excellent opportuinity to join an established and backed organisation in start up mode within it's Irish entity. This role will appeal to an individual who is comfortable taking ownership of complex and challenging initiatives, demonstrating an aptitude for being forward thinking and innovative. In this role, you will be responsible for working within a team which manages the Transaction Reporting on a worldwide basis with a focus on MIFID 2 and EMIR compliance.

This role will require an person with a deep knowledge of MIFID 2 and EMIR reporting requirements and an excellent knowledge and experience of technology platforms that are used for reporting. This role is critical to ensuring that business changes, including new product requirements. The role will also interface with Transaction Reporting teams responsible for the generation of reporting, ensuring that these reports meet the specific requirements of MIFID 2 and EMIR reporting obligations.

Duties will include:

  • Keeping abreast of emerging issues, trends and evolving regulatory requirements and assessing potential impacts.
  • Ability to manage transaction reporting processes, identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency of the team
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management to effectively identify issues and dependencies and escalate significant items to Compliance and business partners.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to develop and interact effectively with all levels of management

The successful applicant will have:

  • University or college degree
  • Relevant work experience in Transaction Reporting, Regulatory Reporting and Compliance
  • 5+ years of experience in Transaction reporting to regulators
