Senior Data Engineer Role - Madrid

I'm reaching out on behalf of a global fintech leader with an exciting opportunity, where data is at the heart of innovation and growth. They're currently hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join their Madrid team (Hybrid - 4 days in the office & 1 day working from home).

Key Skills:

• 3+ years in Data/Analytics Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and cloud platforms (preferably GCP, open to AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices in data
• Strong stakeholder management
• Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus!)

The role is management-focused with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and team collaboration.
