Start your job searchI'm currently working exclusively with a healthcare solutions platform. It's designed to help contribute to the ever-increasing demand for temporary staffing in the NHS, who are currently fighting for us on the front-line.
I have been engaged in order to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing tech team as the business moves from Start-up phase to SME. Growth plans are in place to jump from 52 people to 70 by the end of the year.
This is a permanent position paying around the £65k mark. There is also a shares scheme for new starters as well as imminent salary reviews as the business grows. The role is located remotely for now, but beyond the current situation, the hiring manager is happy to consider someone anywhere in the UK. With the expectancy to occasionally come to the WeWork office in London.
Key Responsibilities include:
Maintaining and improving core infrastructure as the business scales
Ensuring they have useful alerting and monitoring
Automate currently manual processes using Terraform, Ansible etc
Working with wider engineering teams on continuous deployment process
Ensuring the infrastructure meets the ISO 27001 standards for security, reliability, redundancy and recoverability
Tech Stack:
Ruby on Rails | MySQL | React | React Native | Docker | Github Actions | Bitrise | Cypress | AppSignal + Rollbar
AWS products they are using:
RDS (MySQL) | EC2 | S3 | QuickSight
Ideal Profile:
5+ years experience as a full-time professional engineer
Experience of working in a startup or a healthcare organisation
Ability to learn and think critically about both system design and software
engineering concepts and blend those perspectives pragmatically based on project
needs
Experience working asynchronously on a remote, distributed team (does not have to
be professional experience)
AWS certification - AWS Cloud Practitioner
Experience owning DevOps requirements
Demonstrable experience with Terraform
CI/ CD pipelines
