Delighted to be working once more with a dynamic professional services organisation based in the Chester area who are looking for a standout finance professional to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a fast‑growing PE backed business.

In this senior role, you'll partner closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, Head of Finance and CFO-delivering high‑quality management information, driving performance insight, and helping steer strategic decision‑making. If you thrive on ownership, accuracy and turning numbers into a compelling business story, this is your stage. The responsibilities in the role will include the following:

  • Lead the month‑end process and key financial deliverables

  • Produce polished, insightful reporting packs for the Board and ExCo

  • Track performance trends across Bespoke functions and Shared Services

  • Support and challenge the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles

  • Drive continuous improvement, automation and stronger financial controls

  • Contribute to strategic projects and provide expert financial guidance

  • Build commercial acumen by digging deeper, asking better questions and influencing outcomes

You'll be joining a business on a steep growth trajectory-where proactive, curious and commercially minded finance partners make a real difference.

Ideally they are lookinng for a qualified (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) Accountant either, a first time mover with audit experience (FS preferred) or alternatively an industry trained candidate with solid commercial finance and/or FP&A experience, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders throughout the business. A part qualified candidate may be considered, depending on experience.
