Growing Private Equity firms seeks the talents of a driven and career minded Senior Fund Accountant for a newly created Fund Control within the business. With a number of high-profile UK and European investments in their portfolio, the company are a market leading business who has grown aggressively in the last few years. This unique role will give someone the opportunity to build on their fund accounting experience and be involved in supporting the investment team as they structure investments, valuations and negotiating fund level lending facilities.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the correct and efficient operation of a number of private equity funds that invests across various strategies including (private equity / real estate) in Europe. This will include liaison with the third party administrators in review the production of quarterly financial statements. Overseeing and co‐ordinating the investment valuation process, including a high degree of interaction with the London investment teams. You will also act as a point of reference for investor queries and investor.

As you become more comfortable with the key areas of the role it is anticipated you will become increasingly involved with further aspects of the business, such as implementing new online performance and risk reporting to investors, oversee currency hedging and negotiating fund level lending facilities, supporting the investment teams as they structure investments and performance reporting including investment IRR calculations and fund level returns.

We're looking for a qualified accountant (essential) with previous fund accounting expertise in private equity or real estate (a minimum of 3 years PQE). Ideally, this will have been gained in a real estate / private equity firm. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with stakeholders across back, middle and front office. The company is constantly launching new and even more complex funds with this role best suited to someone who prefers working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
