Start your job searchThe purpose of the role will be to provide efficient and effective delivery of risk-based audit plans and objective assurance, advice and insight. You will need to provide full management of systems of control, risk management and governance processes in order to recommend improvements.
The role will include:
- Delivering different styles of audit, including controls audits, programme audits, action plan audits and culture audits, to expected time, cost and quality standards
- Reviewing the delivery of audits and investigations
- Building and maintaining relationships with the business and work on specific audits
- Encouraging and promoting effective risk management and the development of best practice internal control frameworks
- Improving resilience and engagement through personal development and by acting as a coach to junior or non-audit staff
Qualifications needed:
To be considered you would need to come from a strong Internal Audit background, covering all areas of financial and operational audits. Part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIA, IIA desirable but not essential and you will need to be able to enjoy working in an activating environment.
