Start your job searchThis role will be responsible for providing risk-based assurance on the effectiveness of the Group's internal controls to senior management and the Group Audit and Risk Committee for technology. Duties include:
- Lead the IT audit processes from start to finish across all Operating Companies.
- Be the subject matter expert within the Technology domain in the areas of IT operations, service management, and resilience and information security.
- Perform audits on advanced topics such as 5G, cloud implementation, Blockchain and other emerging technologies.
- Provide audit recommendations to Technology managers and progress tracking
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business, especially with Technology leaders across the organisation.
- Support Group Head of Audit - IT, Networks and Programme Assurance, and colleagues in delivery of audit plans by providing knowledge and expertise.
- Build, maintain and indirectly manage a community of IT auditors across our global business.
The ideal candidates will have strong working knowledge of IT controls and risk management. You should come from an internal or external background and be familiar with Internal Audit Standards. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and develop good relationships with business stakeholders. Strong IT knowledge is essential such as ITIL, Cobit, ISO, or British Standards as well as good knowledge of IT networks, operating systems, databases, and applications, ideally including the Microsoft stack, Cloud technologies and SAP. You should be well-versed in assessing business and technology risks and controls, be able to articulate the risks, and recommend business-focused solutions.
