Tax Analyst
- £50-60k Salary
- 1/2 Days per week in office based in South West London
Our client, a well established transport/logistics group are in search of a Tax Analyst to assist the wider finance team in:
- VAT reporting requirements and internal controls.
- Managing end-to-end monthly VAT return processes for two UK VAT Groups.
- Data preparation, analysis, and submission.
Duties also include data extraction, reconciliation, accuracy checks, compliance monitoring, and coordinating with various teams. Stay updated on VAT regulations, manage data in OneSource, and collaborate with Internal Audit.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in VAT compliance, preferably in-house
- Proficient understanding of UK VAT principles
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a proactive attitude
- Attention to detail and high accuracy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to adapt to change
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OneSource in MTD compliance
- Familiarity with Oracle
