Start your job searchThis globally renowned venture capital firm is looking to hire an ACA either directly from practice or with a couple of years in industry (0-3 years PQE), to join as a Finance Manager in their growing finance team.
The business has invested in some of the world's most successful start-ups and tech giants and continues to grow year on year. They are committed to investing in only the most exciting and disruptive technologies and businesses on the planet. It's a genuinely exciting place to work.
The company is less than 50 strong yet has invested over £2 billion. The finance team is small (5) and as mentioned, this reports directly to the CFO. The role itself takes full responsibility for all management company reporting and operations and shares some responsibility with the portfolio accountant (working with the investments to set up their finance and operations infrastructure). From reporting to ad-hoc financial analysis to compliance and reg work, this is a broad finance position and a rare opportunity for a qualified ACA with between 0-3 years post qualified experience.
They are open on background - either someone still in practice looking to make their first move or someone with a few years within industry. The only necessity is a qualification and an interest in what they do or the portfolio companies that they invest in.
The culture at this firm is very much like that of the businesses they invest in - fast, paced, dynamic and modern. They do not have pointless office face time and as such, in the finance team the work life balance is excellent (9-5). Added to this, all employees receive a number of perks including lunch paid for, a Macbook, iPhone and iPad - of course a move should never be based on these factors but they provide evidence of how much they look after their employees. Simply put, the finance team here is one of the best in London to work for.
If you are ACA newly qualified from any sized practice and want to join one of Europe's most exciting companies, in a broad accounting role, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Thomas Wesseldine by applying.
