Workday Reporting Lead - FTC

Overview

My client, a leading professional services firm based in Central London, are undergoing an 18 month Workday Implementation

The position is for an experienced Reporting Lead to work on the Workday implementation reporting into the Programme Management Team. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Alongside the programme team, you will be responsible for the management, creation and delivery of reporting requirements to support the firm wide deployment of Workday HCM, Financials, Learning and PSA.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
* Working with the reporting team, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of reporting requirements to support the implementation of a full platform Workday solution including HCM, Financials, PSA, Learning and Payroll
* Support and transfer knowledge and skills to the reporting team in support of the future target support model
* Requirements gathering, scoping and management of delivery of reports from the Workday implementation partner
* Reporting on progress of the reporting workstream deliveries, along with highlighting any risks and issues to the Programme Management team
* Encourage knowledge sharing and empower staff to apply what they have learnt and become self-sufficient in Workday report writing

Requirements

* Proven experience and knowledge of Workday reporting (HCM and Financials) to a high standard
* Proven experience working on the implementation of Workday across multiple offices
* Hands on experience of creating complex cross functional Workday reports and dashboards
* At a minimum we are looking for an awareness of BIRT and its capabilities, ideally experience of creating/maintaining BIRT reports
* The ability to leverage Workday standard delivered reports to fulfil requirements while creating new reports where necessary
* Experience of Workday Financials and HCM


Communication:

* Demonstrate strong skills to communicate, influence and deal effectively with all levels of the business
* Excellent communicator, able to work with and impart knowledge to a team of individuals with report writing skills in other solutions
* Use collaborative language and effective questions to identify skills gaps and training needs
* Demonstrate ability to tailor communication style and approach depending upon the target audience and key messages to be delivered (e.g. Partners, Directors, Support Staff etc)
