Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join an IT Infrastructure provider in their Central London based head office. Titled "Operational IT Analyst" the focus on the role is very much on 2nd Line Support.
Key member of the IT Department supporting and maintaining the internal IT systems and services. The IT Department's primary function is to proactively support the technological needs of the company, enabling the team to deliver the highest levels of service to our customers. The role is to support various systems with a strong focus on Microsoft based technologies and involves working closely with teams across the company with a view to empowering colleagues to continually find ways to enhance and improve business operations through technology |
Responsibilities
Installing, maintaining and improving IT services and solutions
- Support of all PC's, Laptops and related software/hardware
- SharePoint administration and access control
- Active Directory/Exchange administration and access control
- Support of all Microsoft and Apple based services
- Support of the office networks, printing IP telephony services
- Basic support of Microsoft server, IIS, SQL tech stack
- Respond to user issues raised by colleagues throughout the UK
- Assist the IT Manager and support team in specific project related tasks
- Work with individuals and teams to understand the way the business works and help people to be better in their everyday output through adoption of new or existing IT solutions
Service request and incident management
- Monitor incoming requests and faults reported by users via helpdesk mailbox/phone
- Ensure requests and faults are responded to and resolved with a service oriented, SLA driven approach
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line Support and escalate to 3rd Line where necessary
Additional Tasks
- Understand, support and champion IT Security through ISO27001 policies and procedures
- Research, test and demo new applications and systems as required to support development and technological innovation across the business

Must have a relevant degree 2:1 or better
