My client are successfully operating in the Private Healthcare Sector.
The Opportunity
They are currently looking for an experienced individual to provide financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making support to the Finance Controller for a initial of 4 months.
The Role
- Detailed understanding of the underlying monthly performance of all aspects of the team
- Responsible for analysis and reporting of variances to forecast.
- Preparation of weekly forecasting including investigating and explaining any major variances to forecast
- Preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments to ensure integrity of the management accounts.
- Monthly cost bridge to forecast and monthly management reports.
- Ensure financial integrity for performance, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Detailed monitoring and variance analysis of all cost movements, in both PPL and absolute cost.
- Management of relationship with accounts teams and challenge cost submissions where appropriate.
Key skills & experience
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Knowledge of journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and month end accruals
- Experience in providing detailed variance analysis and budgetary controls.
- Strong IT & Systems knowledge and experience, including Excel
