If so, this opportunity could be great for you. I am working with an organisation based in York to source an Accounts Assistant to join them, liaising with the wider business in Poland.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in Accounts. They will provide great training so don't worry if you don't have all of the experience in the specification

Duties:

Assisting with day to day accounting: bank reconciliation, journals preparation and posting, contras, dealing with all areas of purchase and sales ledger, calculating stock

• Assisting with month end and year end accounting
• Assisting with VAT returns preparation
• Preparation of payroll reports
• Managing miscellaneous queries - bank, accountants, customers, suppliers, management, colleagues etc.
• Managing invoice finance and import loans process
• Dealing with Invoice Finance and Import Loans

You will also be asked to assist the Purchasing Manager with calculating import costs, taxes and duties.
