Start your job searchA live events company is looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for an initial 3 months.
The role is hybrid - 3 days per week in the office in Central London.
An experienced Accounts Payable Assistant is needed for an end-to-end role in a busy and exciting company.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:
- Being the key business contact for all AP related queries.
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Review and verify invoice details, including prices, terms, and payment information.
- Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all invoices have an approved PO before processing
- Maintaining and preparing bank reconciliations.
- Management of the PO process. Liaising with contacts for PO approval and ensuring PO's are raised for committed costs.
- Assist in preparing and processing weekly payment runs (and identifying any business-critical payments outside of these).
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure proper authorisation and documentation for payments.
- Review and process your business unit's expenses and credit card, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile expense reports with supporting documentation and receipts.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Provide necessary reports and documentation to contribute to financial reporting.
The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Have solid Accounts Payable experience
- Have previously used a good range of different softwares
- Be available on a 1 weeks notice or immediately available
- Have intermediate Excel skills
- Be proactive in their approach to work
