I'm currently working with leading industry business that are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Manager to manage a business accounts payable function.
Where you fit in…
You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working:
Role:
- Managing the purchase ledger function
- Printing and processing of purchase invoices, reconciling delivery notes
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Supplier payment runs
- Supplier remittances
- Handling major supplier accounts and attending meetings with suppliers when needed
- Monitoring the purchase invoice process, cash allocation and invoice query management
- Implementing improvements to the Purchase Ledger function
- Preparing weekly aged creditor reports
- Understanding/owning the creditor listing
- Undertaking complex account reconciliations
- Managing aged creditor analysis
What you need?
You'll have the ability to establish and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels. The ability to use your own initiative and attention to detail is a must, while having a hardworking, proactive and positive approach. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Sage 200 and competent with Excel.
