The Client: Globally Renowned Corporate Investment Bank
The Location: London City Centre
The leaders and largest bank in the world is looking to take on an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a niche corporate finance team - the role would offer you the chance to actually report directly into the Deputy Head of Finance. Given the flatness of the structure, you will get complete end-end exposure across all runnings of a finance funciton.
The Responsibilities
- Participating in the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Head Office.
- Providing vital support to the FinControl team on invoice processing and Accounts Payable related tasks.
- Working alongside the Financial Accountant to manage the procurement process.
- Reconciling the monthly AP/AR balance sheet.
The Requirements
- Working towards an Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience working at a similar level, within accounting, banking or auditing fields, preferably in the financial services sector
- Good Knowledge of SAGE and exposure to VAT principles Excellent IT skills including MS office and Excel
