The details
The Role: Assistant Fund Accountant
Location: London City Centre
Industry: Private Equity
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in delivering core reporting processes, including fund reporting, regulatory reporting, data analysis, and portfolio transactions
- Interpret and apply partnership agreements, including carry waterfall calculations, management fees, capital calls, distributions, and drawdowns
- Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial and operational reporting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis of portfolio company operating models, industry sectors, and relevant macroeconomic trends
- Contribute to the digitalisation of financial data, improving data quality, accessibility, and analytical value across the Group
- Support initiatives across multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams on ad[1]hoc and strategic initiatives
Prior Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role (Fund Accounting preferred)
- Experience within Private Equity / Investment Management
- Experience with Power BI, Netsuite, eFront or Anaplan
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft (Excel, Pivot tables etc)
- Strong academics at A level & University
- Part Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
