We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established and growing company in Leyland.

The main duties include:

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts with variance analysis and insightful commentary against budget, forecast and prior year
• Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Analysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/forecast
• Assisting with preparation of annual budgets & monthly and quarterly forecasts
• Support the production of the annual statutory accounts, ensuring that they reconcile back to the annual management accounts

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• Has management accounts experience
• Is part qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or AAT qualified or part AAT qualified
• Has good Excel skills
• Has excellent communication skills
