A longstanding distribution business in Hull are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant. Full study support is provided in the role and the business have an excellent reputation as an outstanding employer. Duties will include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted revenue & costs
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand the drivers of variances
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet and fixed asset reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly cost centre reports and act as initial point of contact with cost centre managers
  • Maintain accurate accruals & prepayments schedule
  • Prepare and post journals
  • Act as finance point of contact to support projects
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Undertake project support as part of the Continuous Improvement Programme
