AV Support Analyst - £34,000

A global professional services firm is looking to hire an AV Support Analyst to be based out of its modern and prestigious offices in central London.

As part of the internal Audio Visual team, the main remit of the role is to provide support across all offices for the various AV and VC hardware used within the firm. The successful candidate will provide meeting room and event spaces support, in a corporate environment, with exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a Meet & Greet service as required to assist all VIP Meetings and for clients who require a technician to help connect audio and video conferencing calls
  • Carry out all AV equipment room check, troubleshoot and fix all issues.
  • Raise tickets, follow up and resolve any AV related faults.
  • Ensure all documented processes are followed
  • Proactively train and support end users.
  • Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated booking system, AV Phone & Email
  • Troubleshoot AV and VC related technology issues (incl. projectors, control systems, switching, audio and screens) to complete resolution when issues occur
  • Provide break/fix, moves/add/change services as required
  • Ensure all equipment faults and requests are reported via the onsite procedures
  • Test, check and ensure equipment is in operable condition prior to any meeting or presentation Equipment / Meeting room set ups as required
  • Setup, testing, operation, and break down of audio visual and video conference equipment; (e.g. video data projection systems, audio and video conference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and operation of integrated AV systems)
  • Be fully competent with the use of end user Audio Visual & videoconferencing equipment
  • Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first /second line basis and provide a work around, if problem is critical
  • Manage consumables & stock holding of on-site spares

Requirements

  • Be fully competent with the use of end user Audio Visual & videoconferencing equipment
  • Fully aware of the principles of the 'Signal Path'
  • Familiar with the concept of 'Gain Structure'
  • Understanding the concept of 'Mix Minus'
  • Professional services experience would be preferred; Accountancy, Investment Banking or Law firms
  • Knowledge of the operational and support aspects of computer systems, hardware, software and peripheral equipment
  • Current Windows OS level knowledge, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point
  • Current MS Office level support experience
  • Confident with setting up and operating Cisco / Polycom VC codecs, Skype for Business / Teams / Zoom / Blue Jeans
  • ITIL foundation (desirable)
