This is an incredibly varied role which will allow you to make a real difference to the performance of a business. The role will suit a qualified Accountant who is commercially focused, has an analytical approach and enjoys problem solving tasks.
This role is working for a business who have grown significantly over the past five years and whose growth will continue into 2021 and beyond. They are private equity backed, part of an incredibly fast paced and exciting environment and this role will allow you to be a key part of their success story.
The role
- Business partnering with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis
- Develop business intelligence tools to sharpen reporting and analysis
- Analyse financial trends to drive decision making
- Manager 1 direct report
- Highlight underperforming activities and risks to delivery of business plans and support the teams to put a performance plan in place driving actions to mitigate them
- Assist with setting budgets and three year plan
- Suggest new ways of planning and planning and processing to improve efficiency and add value
Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
- Experience working in a commercial finance role and adding value
- Exposure to board / senior management teams
- Experience using BI tools ( Power BI, Tableau etc) and in financial forecasting / modelling
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent Excel skills
