Start your job searchAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a fluent Italian speaking CFO in a high growth PE Backed consumer distribution business based in Milan. The business is looking for a commercially astute CFO to take full responsibility for the Finance function and to contribute significantly and broadly to the overall performance, development and future growth of the business as it builds to an eventual sale.
As number one in finance, you will be a precise, analytical thinker with an eye for close detailed work. Key responsibilities of the role will be to set up KPI management, product costing and logistics monitoring, as well as establishing analytics for supply chain, distribution and sourcing. You will be responsible for the overhaul and transformation of the finance function into one which is fit for purpose. With a growing reputation in their sector for a quality product, the business requires a commercially orientated CFO to take full responsibility for the finance function and help steer the business through its expansion and eventual sale.
You will be a qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or equivalent, who is hands-on and commercially aware. The CFO will have an appetite for working across the business in order to play a key role in the delivery of information and to support significant growth in the coming years. Ideally you will have a background as autonomous CFO in a business of scale, ideally in consumer distribution or a similar sector, preferably PE Backed but not essential. This role would suit a fluent Italian speaker with experience of working in Italy and who is flexible on location.
