A PE backed Software business is seeking an experienced and ambitious first time autonomous CFO to grow the finance function and drive the strategic direction of the business in partnership with the CEO.

A key member of the management team, you will be leading several functions within the company with substantial influence on the direction of the business. The organisation is going through a period of rapid growth and requires a comprehensive review of all current system, processes, and controls to ensure they have the capacity to grow alongside the business. As CFO you will have the ability to turn long term goals into short term actions and be willing and prepared to challenge the status quo.

Working closely with the CEO and the private equity backers you will be providing them with both technical and strategic support through their next growth journey. Drawing upon your commercial instinct and excellent communication skills you will develop key relationships and utilise your leadership skills to develop and inspire the finance team.

As CFO will be a qualified accountant (ACA,ACMA,ACCA), and have a proven track record in growing businesses, preferably in a fast-paced software business, or a related sector. This client would consider an ambitious FC/Head of Finance or Divisional FD looking to make that crucial next step into a broader number one in finance or alternately a candidate looking to make a late move out of practice. This is an excellent opportunity to have the ability to get involved in an exciting PE Backed business and take your career to the next level.
