Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a high-growth PE-backed financial services business that has recently undergone rapid expansion. They are now seeking a best-in-class CFO to join the executive team and work closely with the CEO on strategic decisions. The key focus of the role will be to provide a high level of commercial vision to support a growth period along with running the operational side of the business

As the CFO you will oversee finance and operations, and implement necessary controls, processes, and procedures to professionalise the business. As well as drive efforts to enhance reporting, controllership, and data management, this role will ensure that accurate and insightful management information is available to drive informed strategic and business decisions.

Furthermore, in this pivotal role, you will manage financial covenants, ensuring compliance with all debt agreements and regulatory requirements. You will take the lead in structuring and negotiating financial transactions, optimising the business's capital structure to support its ambitious growth plans. This position requires close interaction with financial institutions and investors, playing a crucial part in securing necessary funding and facilitating the business's growth strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), Ideally Chartered
• Experience of being an autonomous CFO Hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Having previous experience of working in a PE-backed or leveraged environment would be desirable, but not essential.
• A background within a Regulated business, a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) business would be preferable
