Commercial Finance Business Partner - Leeds City Centre | Hybrid-3 Days in Office

£65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a high-performing and fast-paced FMCG group, operating at scale across the UK, is looking for a dynamic Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their growing team. With ultramodern offices in the heart of Leeds and a hybrid working model, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to influence key commercial decisions in a business committed to innovation and performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Act as the go-to Finance Business Partner for commercial and customer teams, supporting contract negotiations, pricing, investment decisions and performance analysis.
• Provide end-to-end financial insight across the product lifecycle - from concept to shelf - ensuring margin protection and value creation.
• Lead financial input across the IBP process, aligning forecasts with commercial plans and challenging assumptions where needed.
• Drive smarter promotions, terms, and pricing strategies through data-led insights and net revenue management.
• Own key commercial areas including customer terms, artwork/origination costs, open book contracts and inflation recovery.
• Support and develop a small team, building a strong, commercially credible finance capability.

What You'll Need:

• Fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong post-qualification experience in commercial finance.
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or retail - with a keen eye for margin, volume, and product mix.
• Commercially confident - able to present insight to senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and influence direction.
• A hands-on approach - happy diving into the numbers but always keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team is a plus.
