Corporate Finance Manager - Infrastructure & Government

As the global and domestic market continues to come to terms with Covid 19, the transactions landscape has never been more challenging. As we emerge from our cocoons in the coming weeks and moths Government spending within Infrastructure will be a key aspect in the recovery.

In these uncertain times our client has developed a specific and unique approach to Corporate Finance advice covering broad transactions across the Government & Infrastructure markets. As their market share continues to grow they are now keen to bring in a talented and bright Corporate Finance Manager to the business who is keen to focus within this critical market sector of Infrastructure and Government.

The role:

  • Working under the supervision of a Director within the business as well as other departments in both Ireland and internationally on complex infrastructure and government lead project and corporate finance mandates.
  • Review Excel models under supervision and arrive at preliminary conclusions.
  • Understand, manipulate and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions.
  • Working effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior members on progress.
  • Understanding our client requirements, co-developing our approach with the client, and providing value to our clients through insights, factual conclusions and advice.
  • Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally).
  • Gathering, verifying and analysing information to formulate views.
  • Day to day progression of assignments to include; planning, preparing and reviewing various forms of deliverables to include reports and presentations.
  • A focus on anticipating and identifying risks that require escalation and subsequently escalating these risks to more senior staff as appropriate.
  • Working closely with colleagues you will ensure that work is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
  • Actively establishing, maintaining and strengthening your internal and external relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading teams and business operating in the Infrastructure space, not just domestically but globally. With an incredibly strong pipeline of work even in the face of current economics headwinds this stands out as an opportunity in a constrained market.

The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified to at least Level 9 Masters and or hold an accountancy qualification and will have gained demonstrated experience within the Infrastructure Corporate Financing landscape.

The package is a substantial one with excellent bonus potential and solid benefits plus exceptional career development working with the best in the market.
