Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 pa
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our clients dynamic team in Walsall. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function, manage a team of 5 Credit Controllers, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the credit control team to achieve collection targets.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review customer accounts to identify and resolve issues.
- Liaise with clients to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes.
- Prepare regular reports on debtors and collections for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a credit control or similar role.
- Experienced managing a team.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
