Start your job searchOne of the UK's leading providers of investment management services for individuals, charities and professional advisers is looking for a data analyst based in their London office.
They have 15 offices across the UK including an offshore presence in Jersey and £50.4 billion of funds under management.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and building upon their existing data warehouse and will be focussing on the production of management information and business intelligence output from enterprise level finance and accounting systems.
Primary responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial data, databases and reports
- Make best use of visualisation software, such as PowerBI, to report on monthly variances and support decision making
- Utilise programming skills to build automated reports and dashboards to provide an efficient delivery vehicle of insightful MI
- Proactively drives and manages change to enhance the insights provided to the business
- Provide a trusted source of financial data and analytical support
This is a broad and challenging role which requires a broad understanding of the wealth management industry and of the finance and accounting systems which underlie these business activities.
Requirements:
- Have 2+ years relevant and demonstrable experience in a similar data analyst role
- Working knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Data Warehouses
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Have strong Microsoft office product skills (usual suite of MS products + PowerBI preferred) and experience, coupled with the ability to learn in house systems and interrogate large amounts of data.
