Employment Tax Specialist / Manchester or Leeds - Hybrid / £45,000 DOE with Benefits

An exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Employment Taxes team within Big 4 firm. They are looking for driven and experienced consultants ready to take the next step in their career within a fast-growing and collaborative environment.

The Role:

This is a client-facing role where you'll work with a prestigious portfolio of UK and international clients. You'll be advising on complex employment tax matters, managing compliance risks, and supporting businesses in building effective tax strategies for their workforce.

Day to Day:

  • Deliver advice on a wide range of employment tax issues
  • Help clients understand and respond to complex tax legislation and HMRC guidance
  • Provide support during HMRC enquiries, reviews, and dispute resolution processes
  • Conduct due diligence and tax risk reviews on corporate transactions
  • Research tax legislation and apply insights to real-world scenarios
  • Support and lead on employment tax compliance projects
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development
  • Attend client meetings and help identify new advisory opportunities

Skills & Experience:

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or part-qualified
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation in a commercial context
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
