I'm currently working with a leading fashion retailer who are on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant who can support the Merchandise and Stock Department.
Where you fit in…
You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working:
Role:
- Drive and support the Merchandise Team to meet the commercial needs of the business; making sure the right stock is delivered at the right time
- Work with overseas partners to manage delivery schedules into your UK warehouse
- Co-ordination with the Finance Team to help manage supplier payment plans
- Help build strong working relationships with suppliers
- Respond to calls and queries from external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Answer calls and emails and direct to the appropriate person
- Manage paperwork and invoices
- Release funds to authorised partners
- Create departmental reports and updates
- Be involved in planning and co-ordinating stock movement
- Communicate and drive seasonal business product strategies that create a seamless experience for the customer
What you need?
You'll need to be the kind of person who has strong interpersonal skills and be able to engage with other team members and accounts managers.
- Highly numerate, competent on Excel
- Extremely organised and strong attention to detail
- Great people skills and able to build strong relationships
- Experience in Finance/Merchandising/Fashion is beneficial
- Strategic and analytic thinker - thinks strategically, conceptually and creatively
- Learning Agility - demonstrates an ability to seek new information, ideas, experiences, and is self-aware
