Start your job searchMarks Sattin currently working with a growing Harrogate business within the property sector for the role of Finance Administrator.
The role of Finance Administrator will support the Finance function, by maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase and sales records of designated sites. Due to increased work for the business, this is a newly created role and will lead to great future career prospects within the business.
Our client will pay up to £27,000 and can also offer hybrid working and AAT study support, should candidates wish to study. They are a very friendly office and can accommodate flexible hours (core hours 10 - 4PM on a 35 hour working week).
Experience would be beneficial, but they're open to candidates who are early in their career and keen to learn!
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding and approvals
Managing the finance inbox and resolving supplier queries
Assisting with payment runs and sending supplier remittances
Reviewing and maintaining supplier bank details for data accuracy
Supporting office operations, including ordering supplies and managing post
Helping organise team socials and providing ad hoc admin support across the department
✨ What we're looking for
Experience in a finance or administrative position
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Confident user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Great communicator with excellent organisational skills
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Experience with finance or accounting software is a bonus
