The details
A not-for-profit, social enterprise is seeking a well-rounded Finance Assistant to assist the team and support on project and systems operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Finance Administration & Bookkeeping
- Process and reconcile staff and associate expenses
- Manage the shared finance inbox
- Bank reconciliations
- Raise and track purchase orders
- Maintain invoicing schedules and actively track cash flow projections
- Lead on credit control
- Prepare monthly payroll data
- Support VAT returns, and manage month-end and year-end financial close
- Set up and maintain project data
- Onboard new associates and suppliers
- Assist in preparing reports and updates
This is a hands-on role that will suit a well-organised and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working for a non-for-profit company. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar, well-rounded finance position and working with projects.
