Finance Assistant
Manchester
£18,000 - £25,000

My client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis, working full-time (8:30AM - 5:00PM) in office. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented, proactive professional. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting the finance operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting of financial transactions.
  • Analyst and process any purchase invoices.
  • Reconciliation of company credit cards + petty cash.
  • Credit control assistance.
  • Manage correspondence with customers and suppliers via telephone and email.
  • Process the bimonthly statement runs.
  • Assist with setting up new supplier/customer accounts.
  • Handle any account queries via telephone.
  • Assist with any adhoc/tasks assigned.


Requirements:

  • Strong IT and systems literacy skills (Microsoft Excel)
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous experience within a finance role/background
