Finance Assistant | Warrington | Temporary ongoing Contract | Immediate Start | up to £28,000

Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading FMCG organisation who are looking for a Finance Assistant on a temporary ongoing contract, requiring an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

Produce sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
Chase overdue invoices and manage debt
Review aged debt and maintain record on collection activity
Manage an accurate process for payment of suppliers
Post receipts to the cashbook/sales ledger
Petty cash
Provide assistance to payroll where/if needed and any other administrative duties within finance

Requirements:

Experience with SAGE 200 is an advantage but not essential
Part AAT qualified/studying or qualified by experience
Experience within a nonprofit sector would be an advantage
Strong MS Excel skills
Good customer service and telephone skills
