Finance Assistant | Warrington | Temporary ongoing Contract | Immediate Start | up to £28,000

Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading FMCG organisation who are looking for a Finance Assistant on a temporary ongoing contract, requiring an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Produce sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
• Chase overdue invoices and manage debt
• Review aged debt and maintain record on collection activity
• Manage an accurate process for payment of suppliers
• Post receipts to the cashbook/sales ledger
• Petty cash
• Provide assistance to payroll where/if needed and any other administrative duties within finance

Requirements:

• Experience with SAGE 200 is an advantage but not essential
• Part AAT qualified/studying or qualified by experience
• Experience within a nonprofit sector would be an advantage
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Good customer service and telephone skills
