Finance Business Partner | Manchester | Up to £32ph | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a multinational business based in Manchester to recruit for a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner. This role involves the analysis and monitoring of divisional and functional costs, acting as an interface with relevant functions, and supporting and advising the business on overhead financial matters.

Responsibilities

  • Understand cost drivers of cost centres and provide insights to non-finance members.
  • Advise on costs, consulting spending, FTEs, planning, and reporting.
  • Identify financial opportunities and risks.
  • Propose and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities (accruals, reclassifications, allocations, FTE assignments, etc.).
  • Manage Capex controlling activities and support senior management in new business case setups.
  • Analyse financial information for errors and trends.
  • Assist with year-end and internal audits.
  • Support M&A and divestment projects as needed.


About you

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant.
  • Proven experience in a similar international roles with exposure to senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively to explain financial concepts to non-finance people.
  • Solid organisational, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and general computer skills, particularly with accounting systems (SAP preferred) and reporting.
