Duties of a Finance Business Partner:
- You will be partnering closely with the business, working particularly closely with Sales and other commercial functions. Your focus will be on ensuring profitability across accounts.
- Key responsibilities include providing robust financial management information, recommendations and challenging all aspects of the business to deliver improved decision support resulting in higher profit.
- You will be instrumental to influencing projects and business decisions. This role is extremely diverse with no 2 days will be the same, you will utilise your business and financial acumen to influence at all levels. You will also be managing and mentoring an Assistant Finance Business Partner.
- Provide accurate analysis and translation of key financial data.
- Evaluate commercial data effectively and communicate articulately to non-financial stakeholders.
- Facilitate and provide recommendations for new processes and ways of working.
- Pro-actively seek solutions to current or foreseeable issues.
- Assist with the coordination and completion of the budget and forecasting submissions.
- Preparation and delivery of weekly management accounts for each division of the business
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management results for sales and margin that provides analysis of the actual results, monthly, year to date; and versus forecasts and budget
About you:
The business are looking for a strong team player, customer focused with excellent analytical and communication skills. You'll be able to handle multiple projects and have a real eye for detail.
- Previous Business partnering or Commercial Finance experience.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Ability to challenge and influence.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Financial data analysis.
- Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing Accounts (desirable).
