Start your job searchWe are delighted to be supporting a Consumer Business which has witnessed exponential growth over the past 5 years. Despite the current environment, they continue to witness strong results thanks to a great relationship with the big 4 Grocers and their eCom channels.
Reporting to the FC, the Finance Business Partner will be a key member of the finance team which is responsible for owning the full end-to-end financial controls and month end process, including nominal ledger management and all financial reporting. Specifically, the individual will offer full finance support to the areas of Marketing, NPD (New Product Development) and HR, but will also offer wider finance support across the business. The roles give exposure to people across the business, including senior management, and gives the opportunity to influence across multiple functions as well as at all levels of the organisation.
- Conducting monthly overhead review and variance analysis against forecast
- Providing full finance support to the areas of Marketing, NPD and HR, plus support to the wider business
- Providing input into overhead forecasting, understanding cost drivers
- Review and produce short term cash forecasting
- Responsible for reconciling E-commerce and trade Web sales / payments
- Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations
- Responsible for maintaining fixed asset register, additions, disposals and depreciation
- Working closely with the transactional accounts team to ensure that timely and accurate EC Sales, VAT PSA returns are prepared
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial information which enables such stakeholders to effectively run the business
- Key Performance Indicator Reporting
- Assisting with process improvements in finance department and across the business to improve / standardise processes and controls
You will be a qualified accountant (ACMA/ACA equivalent) with demonstrable experience of partnering the sales or marketing function of a consumer/ online business. You will be hands on, capable of multitasking and passionate about improving the process and challenging he norm.
