Interim Finance Director | £700 - £950pd | Stockport | Temporary contract | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a well-established, privately-owned manufacturing and distribution business, seeking an interim Finance Director. This role offers a hybrid working model and is to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting
• Build relationships with banks, auditors, etc
• Manage cash flow
• Assist with business strategy development
• Provide financial assistance and due diligence for potential acquisitions
• Improve business processes and systems
• Assist with refinancing and potential future exits from a financial perspective
• Manage a sizeable finance team

About you

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Previous experience in a manufacturing business
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Experience in business sale processes is advantageous
• Ability to influence the board and provide strategic financial insights
• Excellent staff management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
