The details
Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed, international Buy and Build Financial Services business in the search for an experienced Finance Director to work closely alongside the Group CFO and wider leadership team. This is a high-impact leadership role within a business that has delivered consistent organic and acquisitive growth and continues to pursue an ambitious expansion strategy. With a future exit event on the horizon, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping prepare the business for its next phase of ownership and value creation.
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Finance Director will provide leadership across group reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information and insight to support strategic decision-making, whilst ensuring robust governance and reporting across the business.
The successful candidate will lead the external audit process and auditor relationship, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting. They will also play a key role in supporting the group's buy-and-build strategy, helping evaluate acquisition opportunities, oversee integration activity, and develop a scalable finance function capable of supporting continued growth. As the business moves towards a future exit, the Finance Director will work closely with the CFO, leadership team, and investors to enhance reporting, strengthen controls, support transaction readiness, and help maximise value through a successful exit process.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed business and contribute directly to its value creation agenda, acquisition strategy, and future exit event, with participation in equity or exit-related incentives available.
